Endothelial microscopy is crucial for diagnosing corneal dystrophies and degenerative diseases, as well as for pre- and post-operative evaluation in cataract surgery and corneal transplantation. Perseus is a fully automated, non-contact system that rapidly captures high-definition endothelial images and automatically calculates cell density, pleomorphism, polymegathism, and pachymetry. For assessments of the corneal periphery, its built-in fixation targets enable accurate peripheral measurements.
