Osiris-T combines corneal topography with total ocular aberrometry, providing essential data for evaluating patients who present not only standard low-order errors but also complex corneal and internal aberrations.
ABERROMETER:
Its pyramidal sensor enables high-resolution measurement—up to 45,000 points across the maximum pupil—with a wide dynamic range. Osiris-T captures the full ocular wavefront in real time at up to 33 frames per second, allowing clinicians to observe changes in power and aberrations during accommodation. The Phoenix software offers advanced analysis tools, including refractive error maps and visual simulations (PSF, MTF, and optotype convolution), aiding both diagnosis and patient explanation.
TOPOGRAPH:
Using a 22-ring Placido-disk reflection system, Osiris-T evaluates corneal shape and refractive contribution through sagittal and tangential curvature, elevation, and power maps. Established diagnostic parameters simplify keratoconus detection and follow-up. Integration of topography with aberrometry also permits calculation of the internal wavefront component.
